The creation of a statewide BYOD Policy was made necessary after the completion of the Digital Education Revolution 1 to 1 Laptop Program. Linked below are the documents that have been created as a result of this focus.

Hunter River High School BYOD Policy

All students in Year 7 are asked to bring their own computing device to school each day.

The Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program follows the Digital Education Revolution program that ended in 2013. Please see the HRHS BYOD Policy below.

Hunter River High School BYOD Equity

​

We are committed to delivery of the same learning outcomes for all our students whatever their family’s financial circumstances.

We have developed an Equity Policy to operate alongside our BYOD Policy. The Equity Policy outlines a number of strategies the school may take, in consultation with you, to support access to information and communication technologies (ICT).

Hunter River High School Student Agreement

​

When students are given permission to bring and use their device in school, it is vital that they understand the conditions under which they do so. We are providing this sample student agreement to encourage a specific conversation to take place between the student and responsible adults. This agreement highlights some of the issues that school leaders have indicated are central to this type of conversation.
